About Dianne:

I work a croft on the westside of Lewis. Before coming here, my background in fine art would typically have used watercolours and acrylics. With the availability of my own wool and by adopting dry needle felting techniques, I started to experiment with wool fibre as an alternative artistic medium. The palette created by combining my own self-dyed wool and commercially dyed fibres enables me to realise a unique quality of colour and texture in the finished picture.
