BoleBespoke is a tiny craft business borne out of a new hobby.

My husband and I are currently renovating the Old School, Stockinish in the gorgeous rocky Bays of Harris.

Fibre Art: Having learned how to "wet felt" wools and silks and other natural fibres, a trip to Harris ignited the spark to turn this photogenic island into inspiration for textile art. Harris Tweed features in some of the pieces as well as hand dyed cottons, locally foraged sheep's wools, grasses, silks.

Many other variety of sheep's wool featured in the felted pictures.

Heirloom Bears: Harris Tweed lends itself to not only beautiful clothes but to the Heirloom Bear. These have proved so popular and now have homes across the globe. The bears are perfect to mark the birth of a baby or as a reminder of a wonderful holiday.

Everything is handmade and commissions are happily undertaken.

BoleBespoke continues to look for new and interesting ways of recycling beach finds such as wet felted fishing floats, delicate felted wool vessels and Harris Tweed and Liberty Cotton Cherry Stone and Lavender Heat Pads.
