Mairi M Martin is a freelance photographer and photography tutor living on the wild west coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. 

Having learned her trade in traditional film photography, she now works in the digital format, exploring the island chain of Lewis and Harris through her black and white, colour and infrared images.

 She is an outdoor soul, at her happiest when out chasing light and capturing the landscape.
